Toothed Chain (silent chain) has the following characteristics:

Low noise: It transmits power through the meshing of the working chain plates with the involute tooth profile of the sprocket. Compared with roller chains and bushing chains, the polygonal effect is significantly reduced, resulting in less impact, smooth operation, and lower meshing noise.

High reliability: The chain links adopt a multi-piece structure. If individual chain plates are damaged during operation, the entire chain will not break immediately, allowing people to detect and replace them in a timely manner. To increase the load-carrying capacity, it is only necessary to increase the size in the width direction, that is, to add the number of chain plate rows.

High motion accuracy: Each chain link wears and elongates uniformly, which can maintain high motion accuracy.
